XC90 Earns Best Auto Tech Award from Kelley Blue Book

Yesterday, we learned the exciting news that, thanks to Volvo's Sensus infotainment system, the XC90 has been named the winner of Kelley Blue Book's 2016 Best Auto Tech Award. The award was presented at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sensus features a tablet-style, nine-inch infrared display, with pinch and swipe interactivity. Furthermore, voice recognition gives users the hands-free ability to adjust climate settings, input a navigation address, and make calls.

“We appreciated the everyday usability of the on-board voice command system in this year’s award winner,” said Micah Muzio, managing editor of video for Kelley Blue Book. “Even better, the Sensus system is issued as standard fare in the 2016 Volvo XC90. This technology was deemed to be a cut above the rest in our testing, earning it the first-ever Kelley Blue Book Best Auto Tech Award."
